Mobile Apps: IRL Pro & Moblin
Last Updated 5 days ago
Two protocols are available for streaming from your smartphone: SRT (single connection) and SRTLA
(bonding of multiple connections). The panel provides a ready-to-copy
URL for both protocols. There is also a button that automatically sets
up the stream in IRL Pro or Moblin – no manual entry required.
IRL Pro (Android)
- Open the panel and use the "Open in IRL Pro"
button – the stream is automatically added to the app. Alternatively,
copy the SRT or SRTLA URL and stream key manually from the panel. - Select SRT (single connection) or SRTLA (bonding) as the protocol.
- For SRTLA: enable bonding to use multiple connections (LTE + WiFi) simultaneously.
- Start the stream.
Moblin (iOS / iPhone)
- Open the panel and use the "Open in Moblin"
button – the stream is automatically added to the app. Alternatively,
copy the SRT or SRTLA URL and stream key manually from the panel. - Select SRT (single connection) or SRTLA (bonding) as the protocol.
- For SRTLA: under Bonding you can add additional network interfaces (e.g. WiFi + mobile data).
- Start the stream.
SRT vs. SRTLA: SRT is suitable for stable
single connections. SRTLA combines multiple connections (e.g. LTE +
WiFi) for greater reliability – especially recommended for IRL streams
on the go.
