Frequently Asked Question
Configuring Forwarding Targets
Last Updated about a month ago
Forwarding targets are the output destinations your relay stream is
automatically forwarded to – e.g. Twitch, Kick or YouTube Live. You will
not find the forwarding targets in the sidebar or
header – they are located directly within each stream entry on the
dashboard, accessible via a dedicated button.
- On the dashboard, open your stream entry and click the Forwarding button.
- Click "Add forwarding target".
- Enter a name for the target.
- Enter the full target URL including the stream key of the respective platform.
- Choose whether the forwarding target should be active or inactive.
- Save the forwarding target.
Multiple forwarding targets: You can have
multiple forwarding targets active at the same time – the stream will
then be forwarded to all active targets in parallel (multistream).
Note: If you have active forwarding targets
configured but are not yet sending to the relay yourself, the targets
will report an error – this is normal and expected. Forwarding starts
automatically as soon as a stream arrives at the relay.
